Good Morning Everyone!

Today I thought I would take the time to talk about …me! As much as the home buying and selling process is about YOU, it’s important to consider who you partner with as my last blog post suggested, so why not follow it up with a little information about who I am, so I had my good friend come up with questions she would want to know if she was choosing a REALTOR®.

What do you think is the quality that makes you fit to be a REALTOR®?

My passion for people!

I know that all my clients are unique and I treat them that way. Meeting people is absolutely one of my favourite parts about my job. Besides my passion for people, I believe that communication is the most important part of any relationship and especially so for the relationship between a client and realtor, I simply will not work with someone if communication is not present.

I care, and my entire business is built on that. 

I love the people and the impact that I can have on their lives. There’s no greater feeling than handing keys over to a first-time home buyer, or helping an investor take that one step closer to retirement.

For this reason, I am constantly working to improve myself as a realtor. I have my finger on the pulse of the market and know that it is always evolving, and that I need to evolve with it! I take courses, go to conventions, and read blogs so that I can proactively plan and be the best that I can for my clients.

What makes me unique

As a full time agent I know a good system can help everyone in the process. I’ve fine-tuned a purchasing plan, a selling plan, a moving plan, a packing plan, all developed to make your life easier.

My passion is unwavering. I love meeting new people, learning new negotiating techniques, new marketing techniques to investing strategies. A life long learner means you get the experience and knowledge through working with me without spending the time or paying the costs of the education!

I also have great relationships with other realtors! I find that this is something often overlooked but can come in handy – especially when it comes to negotiating. A lot of people think that it’s best to have a realtor that’s a “lean mean fighting machine,” but sometimes being the least popular realtor means, well, that you’re the least popular realtor! Don’t get me wrong, sometimes a bit of teeth and assertion is needed, and when it is, I deliver. Overall I have found it’s more rewarding to develop friendly relationships with my peers so we can communicate honestly and they can trust when I say this is our bottom line that I mean it, collaboration tends to lead to better outcomes for all parties involved.

What can I expect from our first meeting?

From negotiation to accepted offer, I will communicate with you every step of the way so that you feel comfortable.

First, we will figure out exactly what you are looking for and I will explain the purchasing or sale process in a way that is easy to understand. Next, we will plan on how you can best build a team of experts so that your experience will be successful. Then, we will talk about how to negotiate offers, how to strengthen our position as buyers or sellers – all this before even looking at or listing a home.

What I love most about Kamloops?

What I love most about Kamloops is the lifestyle. It’s affordable and beautiful, with a ton of year round indoor and outdoor activities. I love the healthy running and biking communities, the lakes, and having access to two ski hills! The people are friendly, there is a strong, diverse economy, and it’s still one of the most, if not the most, affordable city in the interior!
